Grants for Roster Artists

Roster artists may apply directly for two types of grants. To apply for these grants, roster artists must first contact Katie West, PennPAT Director, to discuss the project. If the project is deemed eligible, PennPAT will email or mail the guidelines and application to the roster artist. The deadline for both grants is 6 week prior to the start date.

Artist Technical Assistance Grants

PennPAT awards these grants to artists on the PennPAT roster. Roster artists may apply at any time for funds to support projects that advance tour readiness and improve marketing and other tour management capabilities. Projects may include (but are not limited to) the creation of new marketing materials, short-term consultations, and participation in conferences and showcases. Grants will range up to $5,000 and are generally awarded for 40% of the project costs.

Strategic Opportunity Grants

PennPAT supports roster artists' overseas travel costs for international touring engagements that represent a strategic opportunity for the artist to expand his/her future touring ability. Grants will range up to $5,000 and are generally awarded for 50% of the travel/lodging costs. (This grant program is currently suspended, due to budget cuts)
