Tim Warfield

Known for his exciting performances filled with vivid compositions and viscerally provoking improvisations, Warfield has been proclaimed as “... perhaps the most powerful tenor saxophonist of his generation,” wrote Peter Watrous, The New York Times. The Thelonius Monk International Jazz Saxophone The Washington Post as “spiritual, swinging, smokin’ and especially soulful.”

Repertoire includes original compositions and arrangements of standards such as Night Train, Sentimental Journey, Crazy Rhythm, and My Man. Special presentations include his Jazzy Christmas Show and a tribute to legendary jazz organist, Shirley Scott. Residency activities include saxophone master classes, interactive jam sessions, and Q&A lectures.

Requirements

30-feet wide x 25-feet deep performance space. Metal floor with rubber matting for outdoor concerts. 2-step riser or concert hall stage for indoor. Call for a complete list of technical requirements.

Fees

Performance fees $2,000-$12,000 plus expenses. Complementary activity fees $1,000-$2,000 per day, plus expenses.
