Chatham Baroque

Musically impeccable…” wrote The Washington Post. Chatham Baroque excites audiences with dazzling technique and artful interpretations. Named “Breakthrough Artist of the Year” by National Public Radio, Chatham Baroque is an accomplished baroque trio that has toured throughout the United States, Canada, Latin and South America. The baroque violin virtuosity, the rich fluid lines of the viola de gamba, and the allure of the lute and baroque guitar deliver compelling and vibrant performances.

Programs include "Journeys: Sounds of the Jewish Diaspora," "Il Tedesco della Tiorba: The Music of Giovanni Girolamo Kapsperger," and “Alchemy for Three,” with works by Finger, Biber, Corelli, Kapsperger and Bach. Residency activities include an interactive musical “Catgut & Horsehair” for students K-5, lecture/demonstrations, and Baroque dance and/or rhythm workshops for students in grades 6-12.
