Attack Theatre

Attack Theatre combines contemporary dance, live music and compelling visuals to create “a seamless blend of aching dramatic nuance and compelling physical prowess,” wrote Pittsburgh Post- Gazette. Under the artistic direction of Peter Kope and Michele de la Reza, the company was featured in Dance Magazine’s “25 to Watch” in 2007 and was also selected for the prestigious National Dance Project. Known for their “audacious athleticism” (Dance Magazine), original music and multimedia performance, Attack Theatre has been presented throughout the US, Europe and Asia.

Attack Theatre’s repertoire includes dance/rock operas, lighthearted duets and compelling large group work. Performances always include dynamic residency activities in music and dance for students and the community, including workshops in modern dance technique, music composition, songwriting and lecture/demonstrations.
